Happy New Year 2014

Today is January 1, 2014. I know I am facing six months of chemo treatments for pancreatic cancer. It is going to be a difficult road to travel at times. But, I love to start off the new year by doing something I feel is positive and hopeful. Thus, today I volunteered at and then ran the Rescue Run with my husband and daughter. I love volunteering for Pikes Peak Road Runners. I enjoy being at races and being with other runners, whether I am running the race or not. So, to set the mood for the year, here we are having fun together.
